First, Juan Pelayo stood out as well informed and educated in his craft. He thoroughly understood all the complexities of our plumbing issues. He was extremely patient offering a handy primer on what was needed for our water heater repairs and replacement. The company quoted a competitive price and offered senior and military discounts. Kudos to Juan and ACE Contractors.

This company was recommended to us through Home Advisor for plumbing. They have great ratings on home advisor, BTW.

We had a great experience with them from initial free in-home quote, to quick and easy scheduling, to having the jobs completed efficiently and effectively.

We also got a quote from a 5 star competitor and ACE saved us hundreds of dollars.

The work provided included: replace a garbage disposal, replace a toilet, replace the tank heads and adjust the custom copper plumbing set-up for our whole-house water filtration system (2 step system from Cuzn).

I would recommend Norman for your plumbing needs without hesitation.

This company tried to overcharge me for a plumbing job at a rental unit. Told them to stop job, mid way, paid them for their service up to that point. Hired a different plumber who completed the job at a MUCH LOWER price.

We recently had a plumbing issue in our condo in Encinitas. We located Ace Contractors through Home Advisors. Norman Newsone was prompt in arriving as scheduled. Did a great job very quickly and charged a fair price. Even came back for no charge when we had a unrelated issue and solved that too. We would highly recommend him and his son for your plumbing needs.

These guys do a great job. They are willing to get it done and work within your budget if you can do some of the prep work.

I would use them anytime I have a plumbing issue.

I had a new water heater installed in a new location. This job took much longer than it should have. Water pipes were poorly run and not very neat (see photos). The plumber had to come back the following day to fix. The water heater was relocated outside and put into a cabinet. The heat stack was not put together properly. No screws were used....only tape. The pipe fell apart after only bumping into the cabinet. I was so fed up of the poor work, I fixed the heat stack myself with self tapping screws. The plumber also put more holes in the wall than he needed to run plumbing and gas because he measured once and cut twice.....just all around sloppy work. I was going to have them assist in my kitchen remodel, but, I will now be looking elsewhere. Do not waste your time or money with this company.

I do not recommend Ace Contractors. I was referred to the by my Home Warranty plan to replace my bathtub faucet. I have been a homeowner for over 30 years and have never had such a horrible experience. Poor quality of workmanship and additional damage in my home. Look elsewhere. I have paid to have my own plumber fix the work their contractor did!

While I appreciated their fast response to service requests, I did not appreciate the quality of their work. I had a new HVAC installed on the roof of my condo, with the trust that everything would be installed correctly due to my lack of expertise. However in less than a year, when the HVAC had issues, I found out that not only did they not install it correctly and the lineset bursted, leaked out all the freon, but they also failed to install the necessary filters for the lineset. The 2 year warranty with the company that I paid for in the beginning did not cover anything. I would not recommend this company to anyone else, nor would I have them perform work at my unit.

if you want really really bad service, this is the company for you. They contact you , and schedule a service, then 15 minutes before they call to reschedule. Then they call again the new day of service, with an emergency , and reschedule again. Ground hog day all over again. They are awful!! They will tell you your routine service will only be done when all emergencies are handled. If they had a negative star rating, thats what they would get from me. They suck

Highly recommend. We needed our furnace replaced. Raul showed up when he said he was going to, provided a competitive quote, and knocked out the project. Left the space clean and answered all of our questions. New furnace works great. Easy to do business with and would use them again.
