From A-Cold-Wall*'s Samuel Ross to Kiko Kostadinov... Sure, December's big hitting event might be Christmas, but for us there's another that (almost) takes the biscuit. The Fashion Awards, in partnership with Swarovski, takes place at the end of each year and is a big, brilliant celebration of the best in both British and international fashion talent. Now we can reveal who will be up for the Best Emerging Menswear Designer award, as chosen by the British Fashion Council and Swarovski. Following in the footsteps of 2017 nominees Charles Jeffrey Loverboy and Henry Holland, this year's line-up consists of Kiko Kostadinov, A-Cold-Wall*'s Samuel Ross, Phoebe English, Eden Loweth & Tom Barratt for Art School and Ben Cottrell and Matthew Dainty for Cottweiler. The nominees for this year's award cross the board with regards to menswear styles, ranging from the streetwear-heavy and Virgil Abloh-approved A-Cold-Wall* to the more refined Phoebe English. Celebrating emerging talent in British menswear, the award recognises the innovation and creative influence from a British-based menswear or accessories designer, whose collections have garnered serious attention over the past year. Last year's recipient Charles Jeffrey has flourished over the twelve months since his award, being worn by the likes of Harry Styles. What's more he was recently named our Breakthrough Designer Of The Year. The Fashion Awards will take place on 10 December at the Royal Albert Hall and we'll be here to bring you all the news from them, but for now check out all the nominees below...
