Duo Comedy Showcase is Seattle's only public open mic for improv. Two-person teams doing what they do best: creating spontaneous scenes on the fly that are so hilarious, quick-witted, and perfectly constructed it's hard to believe they are made up on the spot. At Duos, newer improvisers have an opportunity to improve while professional improvisers practice and try new things. Unexpected Productions shows run approximately 70-90 minutes long. Since each performance is unique, it is difficult to provide an exact time.
Doors open 30 minutes prior to performances.
Our performances are filled with excitement, humor, and unpredictability. We don't rely on a fixed script or plan, instead, our talented improvisers use suggestions from the audience to create spontaneous and unique moments during each show.
Our shows are open to all age groups, but it's important to remember that we categorize them as PG13 unless stated otherwise in the show description. The unpredictable and interactive style of improvisation means that we cannot always guarantee the suitability of the content.
If you are celebrating an anniversary, birthday, or a bachelor/bachelorette party, please let us know. We will try to get you a shout-out from the stage or use you in a scene. We can’t always guarantee it, but we will try.
Our performances are designed to involve you, the audience. We ask questions to generate scenes and work together to create an entertaining experience. While we do invite volunteers to participate, we never pressure anyone to come on stage or make fun of anyone.

There is a nearby parking garage at 1531 Western Ave, Seattle, WA 98101. Parking is $7 after 5pm.
Yes, we are.
We offer a variety of beverages including craft beer, wine, and cocktails. We also have a selection of snacks available for purchase such as popcorn, chips, and candy. Soft drinks and bottled water are also available.
Tickets for our regular performances are $10 - $15 per person when purchased online and $15 - $20 when purchased at the door. Military personnel, students, and seniors (65+) can purchase tickets for $12. Prices for specialty shows may vary.
