What’s Happening?

The Neill-Cochran House Museum invites you to a fun and intimate talk with artist Lawrence Jolly. Jolly’s art is featured in the exhibition, Texas Lost and Found, on display at the NCHM from Jan 24, - May 26, 2024. Learn about Jolly’s background, his process, and his work.

The talk will be held in the NCHM Exhibit Room surrounded by the exhibition. Guests can enjoy complimentary cocktails and beverages with the artist. Free parking is available behind the Museum.

Texas Lost and Found will be on display at the Neill-Cochran House Museum through May 26, 2024. The Museum is open Wednesdays through Sundays from 11:00 AM until 4:00 PM.

About the Artist:

Lawrence Jolly is an accomplished studio artist who lives and works in Round Rock, Texas. As the former owner of iconic Austin graphic design firm, Jolly Design, and graduate of UT/Austin with a BFA in design, Lawrence is the recipient of the 2016 City of Austin Peoples Choice Award, Austin ArtBoards winner, and subject of numerous shows and exhibits throughout the US. His work connects through visual allegory our spiritual and natural selves in richly rendered medium- and large-format oil paintings and mixed media dimensional pieces.

More about Neill-Cochran House Museum
The Neill-Cochran House Museum is located in the heart of Austin, TX, just a few minutes walk from the UT-Austin campus. We steward the city's 10th oldest historic site (1856), including Austin's only intact slave quarters. We share our site, Austin, and Texas history from the city's birth in 1839 up to 1930 through historically furnished spaces as well as numerous rotating art and history exhibitions.
