South LA Best Buy Teen Tech Center
June 2nd from 3PM - 6:30PM
Vermont Slauson Economic Development Corporation is excited to announce our new South LA Best Buy Teen Tech Center Grand Opening on Thursday, June 2, from 3:00PM - 6:30PM.
We are at capacity, with a waiting list. If you register now, or are already on the waiting list, you will be invited to a tour after the Grand Opening.
Come celebrate with us the Grand Opening South LA's new Best Buy Teen Tech Center, and take a tour led by one of our Student Ambassadors. The Teen Tech Center was designed to be a safe and inclusive space for South LA youth who have an interest in Tech. Ten to eighteen year-olds will have free access to classes (both in-person and online), state-of-the-art tech equipment, and mentorships. The facility offers:
Recording and digital music studio
Film and video editing equipment
DIY fashion and 3D printing station
Event and performance space
and more!
Join us for food trucks, tours, and a promise to South LA youth to share the tools and knowledge they need to be competitive in Technology.

The Vermont Slauson Economic Development Corporation takes the health and safety of its members, guests, and staff very seriously. The event will be compliant with local and state health protocols to ensure the safety of all our guests.
