32 Ukrainian servicemen return from captivity

A total of 32 Ukrainian servicemen have returned home from captivity, as per Andriy Yermak, Head of Volodymyr Zelensky’s administration.

The men in question are soldiers and officers of Ukraine’s Armed Forces; many of them were declared missing in action earlier. The dead body of Dmytro Fialka, an academy coach for FC Dynamo Lviv who was killed in action in early September, was also returned.

Yermak did not specify who the servicemen were exchanged for. Russia has yet to comment on this POW exchange.

Moreover, Ukraine’s Ministry for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories has announced that an exchange of dead bodies occurred today, and Ukraine has managed to return the bodies of its servicemen who were killed in the Olenivka prison massacre.

The Ministry referred to the latest negotiations as “ultra-difficult”. Russia did not make any comment on this matter either.
