Our Philosophy
Our summer camp exists exclusively for the young child 21 months to 9 years of age. Our aim is to nurture and develop each child’s greatest potential during a stimulating and fun filled summer! We have created a relaxed environment where campers feel comfortable and confident. Our small group size and excellent camper to counselor ratio assure the fostering of each camper’s social, emotional and physical needs. After a summer at Palisades Country Day Camp, campers feel a sense of accomplishment, importance and independence which in turn builds strong self-esteem!
The PCDC Magic
At Palisades Country Day Camp, there is a special kind of “MAGIC” intertwined in each day, every activity, camper, counselor and experience. Throughout the summer, campers will experience a variety of activities that embrace creativity, laughter and growth. Events such as snow day, superhero day, breakfast in pajamas and our annual boat regatta ensure lifelong memories are made. This is our magic. We are truly ALL ABOUT FUN!
Our Staff
The key to any camp’s success lies in the quality of its staff. At PCDC we pride ourselves on our exceptional customer service and child-focused atmosphere. We have highly qualified, experienced, caring staff members with diverse backgrounds posing a wide range of skills. We all share a tremendous dedication and commitment to children. All groups are lead by adult professionals comprised mainly of certified teachers and college students studying education. All of our staff members are trained in developing physical coordination, fostering healthy attitudes and nurturing your child’s greatest potential.
